Gubernur DKI Jakarta memberikan sambutan pada Rakornas Binwas Inspektorat Daerah Tahun 2025

Pramono: Inspectorate Becomes a Strategic Partner to Smoothen Priority Programs

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung emphasized the importance of the Regional Inspectorate as the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) in ensuring the implementation of government priority programs.

This commitment is realized through various national priority programs

He delivered this statement during the National Coordination Meeting on the  Regional Inspectorate's Development and Supervision (Rakornas Binwas) 2025 at the Pullman Jakarta Central Park Hotel, West Jakarta, Thursday (10/9). The meeting was also attended by the Home Minister, Tito Karnavian.

"Besides serving as an overseer, it also functions as a strategic partner and trusted advisor for regional heads in ensuring that priority programs run following good governance principles and support regional fiscal independence," he expressed.

Pramono: PPSU Work Contract must Be Completed Soon

According to him, the role can be realized through the implementation of audits of regional strategic projects and the development of various creative financing alternatives to strengthen regional development.

He explained, Jakarta is currently transforming into the national economic center and a global city. This strengthening process requires governance that serves as the main foundation to ensure development proceeds smoothly, transparently, and sustainably.

Some important indicators of this strengthening include a stable and globally connected economy, continuous research and innovation capacity, comfortable living spaces, attractive tourism including sport tourism, a clean environment, and accessibility between regions.

Further, Pramono emphasized strengthening strategic collaboration between the central government, the Jakarta government, other regional governments, and all stakeholders to realize the vision of President Prabowo Subianto's administration.

"This commitment is realized through various national priority programs, including those in Jakarta, free nutritious meals, Red and White Cooperatives, public schools, free health check-ups, tuberculosis eradication, the construction of quality hospitals, the national food barn, and economic growth monitoring," he continued.

Thereby, regional heads have a moral and constitutional responsibility to ensure that every policy, budget, and public service implemented upholds integrity, professionalism, transparency, and accountability.

In line with global internal audit standards, he emphasizes several principles that local APIP must adhere to. These include being independent and free from influence by other interests, having direct reporting channels to the regional head, aligning roles and services with stakeholders, and being competent in providing input for decision-making.

"Hopefully, this National Coordination Meeting becomes a productive forum for all regional heads and APIP ranks in Indonesia to exchange views, strengthen synergy, and formulate strategies to enhance capabilities," he added.

Through this forum, he hopes that the government's commitment to building an integrity, transparent, professional, and results-oriented governance will become even stronger. Additionally, this forum is also expected to make APIP a strategic partner that strengthens the foundation of local governments across Indonesia.

In this activity, the Jakarta Regional Inspector received the Anggaraksa Dharma award along with four other regions with the best performance, namely the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Bali, West Sumatra, and West Kalimantan.
