City Administration-DPRD Must Synergy Each Other

The Regional Development Planning Forums (Musrenbang) at provincial level is officially opened by Home Minister, Tjahjo Kumolo at City Hall, Tuesday (4/14). The forum will be held from April 14-16, 2015.

On that occasion, Kumolo reminded the city administration to always synergy with Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD). This is because, they are related to each other in running the government.

“Indeed they have different styles, but must remain in synergy. I hope this forum could accelerate the development process for the sake of people' welfare,” he uttered.

He also asked the legislative to keep monitoring in accordance with its function. Thus the city development can be right on target in compliance with what citizen wants. "The legislative role must be done, it's very important,” he asserted.

On the other hand, Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidajat expressed such forum is the final part of a series of participatory development stage that derived from deliberation at the level of RW, urban village, sub-district, city, and regency. "Furthermore, the whole implemented stage is organized into documents of 2016 Provincial Development Plant (RKPD),” he told.

The forum's theme for 2016 city development is a synergy with local government with Jakartans in the infrastructure and public services development through transparent and accountable system. "All these stages should provide opportunity to people to actively give any input, as well as monitor development plan process,” he said.

After opening the forum, the minister and Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama did a teleconference with two urban villages, namely Kramatpela and Paseban. The headmen asked to report problem that happens in their zone.
