Endro emphasized the importance of public awareness in maintaining cleanliness, both as a place of residence and a tourist destination. As one of the Seribu Islands' tourist destinations, the community must also be prepared to welcome tourists with a clean and well-maintained environment.

"Tourists come to enjoy the beauty here. The residents of Harapan Island should be the ones best prepared to welcome them. I also ask the women to separate their waste, including organic and plastic, after cooking or eating," he said, Friday (11/14).

He added that PPSU and Environmental Sub-agency personnel must educate residents about waste sorting management.

"Let's remind each other," he added.

Meanwhile, Head of Harapan Island Urban Village, Muhammad Nuralim explained the communal work involved personnel of Satpol PP, PPSU, Environmental Sub-agency, Water Resources Sub-agency, UKT 1, UKT 2, Army, Police, Transportation Agency, Fire Handling and Rescue Agency, cadres, heads of RT/RW, and so on.

"We cleaned up the beach, alleys, and parks. We removed approximately 500 kilogram of trash, transported by four motorized carts," he explained.

He hopes this Clean Action will improve environmental cleanliness and attract tourists, especially now that the rainy season has arrived.

"We keep reminding them to maintain cleanliness by not throwing rubbish carelessly," he stated.
