Meeting Governor, Pramuka Market Traders Discuss Stall Rental Prices

"We offer an easy way to pay the kiosk deposit. Only 19 out of 401 kiosk owners remain, less than five percent have not paid yet," he explained.

According to him, the management is now preparing a temporary selling area on the third floor with a capacity of 217 business units. Traders will occupy the area in turns according to the revitalization stages starting from the ground floor.

"Renovation is targeted to be finished for one year and eight months following the contract. Then, there is a six-month maintenance period after the work is completed, he explained.

He added, Perumda Pasar Jaya's management also collaborates with Bank Jakarta to assist vendors who need additional capital to pay for kiosk rent through the People's Business Credit (KUR) program.

Meanwhile, one of the traders who refused to be named claimed to support the revitalization program for the sake of comfort in trading and for the customers.

"We support it. The decided price has also been agreed upon because this is a lively market with visitors every day," he said.
