Traffic Diversions Prepared Around Monas Ahead of 212 Reunion

Jakarta Transportation Agency is preparing situational traffic diversions on several roads around Monas on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in relation to the 212 Reunion event.

"Situational traffic diversions will be in place from 5 PM until the event concludes,"

"Situational traffic diversions will be in place from 5 PM until the event concludes on December 2, 2025, affecting several roads near the venue," said Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo, on Monday (12/1).

Here are the road sections affected by the diversions:

Utility Works Cause Traffic Diversion on Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto

a. Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat

b. Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan

c. Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara

d. Jalan Veteran I

e. Jalan Veteran II

f. Jalan Veteran III

g. Eastern side of Jalan Majapahit

h. Jalan Budi Kemuliaan

i. Jalan MH Thamrin, from Horse Statue intersection to Kebon Sirih intersection.

To support the event, Syafrin added that traffic diversion will be implemented starting at 5 PM until the event concludes (depending on the situation), with the following adjustments:

a. Traffic from the west (Tanah Abang) heading east (Gambir) can take Jalan Abdul Muis-Jalan Majapahit-Jalan Juanda-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat-Jalan Pejambon–and so on; or via Jalan Jatibaru Raya-Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan M.I. Ridwan Rais-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-and so on;

b. Traffic from the east (Tugu Tani) heading west (Tanah Abang) can take Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Perwira-Jalan Katedral-Jalan Veteran-Jalan Suryapranoto-and so on;

c. Traffic from the north (Harmoni) heading south (Tanah Abang) can use Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Cideng Timur-and so on;

d. Traffic from the north (Harmoni) heading south (Tugu Tani) can take Jalan Juanda- Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat-Jalan Pejambon-and so on.

"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and follow the adjusted traffic arrangements, obey traffic signs, follow instructions from officers on site, and always prioritize safety on the road,” he asserted.
