Citizens Flocking to Low-Price Meat Bazaar

Citizens are flocking to low-price meat bazaar which is held on the yard of Petamburan Urban Village office, Jalan Petamburan II, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Monday (7/13). 

This is a special event for underprivileged citizens, instead of staffs or employees are prohibited

Relaying on beritajakarta.com observations, the citizens are willing to queue and jostle to get low-price meats. In that occasion, the city administration provides 1,000 kilograms of beef and 500 kilograms of chicken. And the beef is sold at Rp 39,000 per kilograms and chicken meat Rp 13,000 per kilograms. It is cheaper than in market that reached Rp 89,000 and chicken meat Rp 40,000. 

Petamburan Urban Village Head, M Rodi stated the program is purposed to lighten the underprivileged citizens' burden and also to welcome Eid ul-Fitr 1436 H. 

1.3 Tons of Meat Distributed in W. Jakarta

"This is a special event for underprivileged citizens, instead of staffs or employees are prohibited. The meat itself was subsidized by the city administration. For beef is sold by Rp 50,000 per kilogram and chicken Rp 27,000," asserted Rodi, Monday (7/13). 

Each citizen who buy the meat already have a coupon that previously distributed by local RT and RW thus the bazaar will be on the target.

"RT and RW have recorded the citizens five days ago thus they can buy such subsidized meats," he closed.
