In the market, the department provides 1,200 kilograms of beef worth Rp 39 thousand/kg and 300 kilograms of chicken meat Rp 13 thousand/kg.

"We open the market to simplify people getting cheap meats, considering its price would be more expensive ahead of Eid Ul-Fitr," he explained.
Since morning, the market was already crowded by hundreds of people. They only allowed to buy one kilogram by filling out a form with attaching ID card.
Rudi, (28), a citizen said the event is very helpful for lower-income people. "The meat price is affordable, I can celebrate Eid ul-Fitr by consuming beef," told Rudi.
