Low-Cost Flat Provided for City Freelancers

City Administration plans to build special low-cost flat designed for freelancer (PHL) in every municipality in Jakarta.

City Secretary, Saefullah admitted his concern seeing freelancers who work for regional unit (SKPD) have no place to sleep. Many of them sleeping under flyover.

“We have to take care of them, one of the efforts is providing low-cost flat,” he said at City Hall, Tuesday (7/14).

Saefullah acknowledged those freelancers who live under the bridge are mostly work in technical department such as Water Management Department, Park and City Cemetery and Park Department.

“ Mostly freelancer live under flyover. Whereas they had a great job in cleaning the city ,” he added.

Saefullah uttered, presently the total number of city freelancers who worked in each regional unit (SKPD) are around 13 thousands.
