Several Microtrans Routes Diverted

Several Mikrotrans and Transjakarta bus routes were rerouted due to inundation in several areas in Jakarta, Saturday (1/31).

This diversion has been in effect since the morning to ensure safety and smooth operational services.

"Transjakarta apologizes for the inconvenience experienced by customers due to the route diversion," said Ayu Wardhani, Transjakarta's Head of Public Relation and CSR.

The JAK.05 Mikrotrans service on the Semper–Rorotan route was diverted starting at 5:54 AM. The diversion was made due to approximately 40 centimeters of floodwater on Jalan Madya Kebantenan, making it impassable for normal vehicles.

Meanwhile, starting at 6:25 AM, the JAK.78A Mikrotrans route from Benda to East Cengkareng was diverted specifically to Benda via the toll entrance and exit. Approximately 30 centimeters of water occurred at the entrance to the Cengkareng Business City (CBC) area. However, all bus stops on this route continued to operate as usual.

The Transjakarta bus route 3E Puri Kembangan–Sentraland Cengkareng was diverted starting at 7:45 AM due to flooding along Jalan Gunung Merapi. This route will temporarily close the Royal Palm 1 Bus Stop to Taman Palm 1 in both directions.

"Customers are advised to monitor bus movements in real time via the TJ: Transjakarta application and follow the latest information via Transjakarta's official social media," she appealed.
