Vice Governor Would Not Hold Another Open House

The celebration of Eid ul-Fitr Fitr 1436 Hijri was really used by Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidajat to conduct silaturahmi (communal togetherness). Yet, due to its silaturahmi agenda was already held at City Hall, Djarot decided not to hold another open house, neither in his official home or private home.

"No more open house, it's only at City Hall. Tomorrow, I'm going to Solo for silaturahmi with my big family," he stated, Friday (7/17). 

He also claimed, it was his first time taking Eid prayer in Istiqlal Mosque. He also revealed, the difference circumstances of Eid ul-Fitr in the city and Blitar. In Blitar, he usually served a menu of lontong cap gomeh (mixed curry served with rice cakes).

"While in Jakarta, I have no idea what kind of food served," he expressed. 

Besides silaturahmi with city officials, similar thing would also be done in the houses of two formers Jakarta Governor, Suryadi Soedirja and Sutiyoso.
