City Took Over Rawasari Selatan Land

City administration successfully took over 1,300 square meter land after being occupied for 5 years on Jalan Rawasari Selatan, Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Thursday (7/23). Previously, the land was guarded by a youth mass organization members.

Land was leased to be kiosk, house and workshop

Relayed on beritajakarta.com, as much as 400 joint personnel comprised of Satpol PP, Central Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department and officer of Infrastructure and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) from sub-district with a help of a heavy equipment deployed to demolish the illegal buildings. The debris material left then brought to Bantar Gebang Integrated Disposal Site, Bekasi.

“Land was leased to be kiosk, house and workshop. That’s why we fight back to take over this land," said Vice Mayor of Central Jakarta, Arifin.

Park Project, City to Take Over Land in North Jakarta

Prior to demolishment, his party has sent a warning letter then unloading warrant (SPB) three times and gave them chance to immediately vacant that land.

“The demolishment must be done because they ignore our warning,” he uttered.

Temporarily, the land will be used as green open space (RTH) while waiting flat construction plan that is integrated with Rawasari market.
