Central Jakarta City Administration is about to conduct Population Operation (Binduk). In accordance with Bylaw No.2/2011 regarding Population and Civil Registration, the effort is addressed to anticipate newcomers who have no adequate population data.

Head of Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department (Dukcapil), Warisih acknowledged that currently Section Headmen of Population and Civil Registration in 8 sub-districts are still collecting data of newcomers' location.
“We’ll conduct the operation simultaneously. The priorities areas are Johar Baru and Senen as considered many dormitories rampant in the areas,” she said, Friday (7/24).
Binduk Operation Targets Kalibaru and Sukapura Urban Village“We welcome newcomers to come in Jakarta with a note, you must have a job, place to stay and have population document. If you can not meet such requirements, Social Sub-Department will send you back home,” she disclosed.
