DPRD Malang Learns Tax Management from East Jakarta Administration

Malang City Legislative (DPRD) conducts comparative study on tax control and management to East Jakarta Administration. The delegation member of Commission B DPRD II Malang welcomed by East Jakarta Administration Secretary M Anwar accompanied by Economic Division Head Sutrisna and Industry and Energy Sub Department (PE) Head Tuti Kurniati.

"In Malang City, all tax and business permit should get recommendation from Regional Revenue Department (Dispenda). But in here we found a new regulation about tax," told Commission B DPRD II Malang Head, Abdul Malik, Monday (7/27).

As the commission that oversees financial affairs in DPRD Malang, Hakim continued, they feel need to get suggestion from other cities about regional financial management, especially about tax.

"Alhamdulillah (thanks God), we found many new things here about tax management and other things such as animal slaughter and street lighting," he explained.

He continues, East Jakarta Administration was chosen because many things in this area can be adopted and developed in Malang City.

"We found many things here, such as chicken slaughterhouse that focused in Rawabening area, in Malang the slaughterhouse still spread around the village so disturb the environment," he told.
