S. Jakarta Adds 10 Water Tanks to Tackle Drought Park

South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Parks and Cemeteries adds 10 water tanks for watering the park. It aims as dry season anticipation.
The ten tanks are spread to 10 sub-districts
“We add around 10 water tanks for watering parks and green space,” said Suzi Marsitawati, Head of South Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Thursday (8/4).
Marsitawati conveyed that, the capacity of each tanks are 1,000 liters. As it is temporary, those tanks are put in park detective units team car (buser).

The ten tanks are spread to 10 sub-districts ,” she enlightened.However, those additional tanks are purposed to assist the existing 11 operational tanks. “There are 11 big tanks with 3,000 liters and 6,000 liters capacity,” she uttered.
Separately, to streamline the watering, she picks the perfect time or when the weather condition is not too hot.
“Watering at noon is totally a bad idea, as the high evaporation process happens during that time,” she disclosed.
