Seribu Islands residents were appealed to use banking service and leave the old tradition. It is following with the increase of mobile banking service in Seribu Islands. 

Hopefully, the program could spur citizens to diligently save, influence on economic level and Seribu Islands residents would be modern community

Acting (Plt) Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo stated the service given will ease citizens in transaction and increase their living standard. 

"Hopefully, the program could spur citizens to diligently save, influence on economic level and Seribu Islands residents would be modern community," he hoped, Tuesday (8/4). 

In future, he told, not only one bank having mobile banking but there would be more bank, as it also becomes tourists' need. 

"We suggest that government's banks to build ATM outlet, like Bank DKI as the existing mobile banking only visits islands for once a week," he told. 

Previously, during video conference between President of Indonesia, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, citizens requested the government to build ATM outlet immediately particularly in residential islands to simplify tourists in transaction, considering the increasing number of tourists.
