City to Build Independent Water Hydrant

Jakarta Fire Management and Rescue Department will build an independent water hydrant to get source water easily during fire incident. Considering the current water volume in water hydrant is still very low.

So, each tank can accommodate 10,000 liters of water

Jakarta Fire Management and Rescue Department Head, Subejo said the independent water hydrant shaped water tank. Later on, it will be attached in some residential for fire handling.

" So, each tank can accommodate 10,000 liters of water ," he said, Thursday (6/8).

In addition, he furthered, the water hydrant maintenance will also become a barometer for sub-department head.  

Meanwhile, Head of PT Palyja Public Relations, Meyritha Maryanie disclosed until now, there is still no difference between hydrant pipe and customer pipe. According to her, if the hydrant pipe is built, the pipe needs larger diameter.

"In Palyja network as long as 5,400 kilometers, there is no difference between hydrant and customer," he finished.
