Wednesday, 237 Asemka Street Vendors Relocated

After passing through a guidance process, as many as 237 street vendors who sell around Pagi Market, Asemka, West Jakarta, will be relocated on Wednesday (8/13). The relocation is an effort to conduct 5 orders program initiated by Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama, street vendors order is one of them. 

They can start registering on Monday (8/11) in Roa Malaka or Pinangsia Urban Village. It opens at 8 AM-12 PM

Of the 237 street vendors, 176 of them are in Roa Malaka Urban Village, Tambora, and 97 left are in Pinangsia Urban Village, Taman sari.

"They can start registering on Monday (8/11) in Roa Malaka or Pinangsia Urban Village. It opens at 8 AM-12 PM," said Head of Taman Sari Sub-District, Paris Limbong, Saturday (8/8). 

Limbong voiced, after the registration done, Tuesday (8/12), all the registered street vendors have a right to participate in kiosk raffling phase held by PD Jaya Market. 

"After all is done, those hundreds of street vendors will start to be relocated," he told. 

Those will be relocated to Perniagaan, Mitra, Pagi and Jembatan II Markets. 

Ade, (30), one of the vendors claimed he was ready to be relocated. Although he still confused related to his trading location. Considering in the previous location, he already had many customers.
