1,027 PMKS in West Jakarta Netted

The outreach operation of People with Social Welfare Issues (PMKS) keeps being conducted by West Jakarta Social Sub-Department. As a result, as many as 1,027 PMKS have been netted in the operation throughout January-August 2015. 

There have been 1,027 PMKS netted throughout January-August,

"There have been 1,027 PMKS netted throughout January-August," said Head of West Jakarta Social Sub-Department Ika Yuli Rahayu, Tuesday (8/11). 

Rahayu told that from the number, the bums category is on top position with 235 people. "Then followed by beggar with 201 people, psychotic with 158 people, street musician with 142 people, sex workers with 22 people, transvestite with 16 people, and for the rests are various categories," she uttered.

She added, her party keeps conducting patrol and outreaching from citizens report towards any activity related to PMKS category. Even, PMKS-prone points have also been guarded by officers of the Social Service, Monitoring, and Handling (P3S). "P3S officers have been dispatched on some PMKS-prone points," she added. 

Those points are Cengkareng Ramayana Market, Kembangan Intersection, Jalan Kedoya Raya, and Jembatan Besi Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) and in front of Indosiar. "We will keep minimizing PMKS number in this area. For those netted will be brought to social house instantly," he closed.
