Healthy Race Walking Held in Central Jakarta

To enliven the commemoration of the 70th Indonesia's Independence Day, Central Jakarta Administration held some activities and races. One of them was healthy race walking in RW 09 Cempaka Putih Barat, Cempaka Putih.

The Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Arifin stated, the race was also conducted while picking trash on the roads which are passed by the participants. By doing so, besides realizing clean negihborhood, it also can make body healthier.
"We can do this simple thing to make Jakarta clean, beautiful, convenient and safe starting from ourselves in our own environment," said Arifin, Sunday (8/16).
Area Outside of Proclamation Monument CleanedHe also reminds all youths to be ready for being pioneer and working to realize clean and healthy environment.
"Keep working to make our environment clean, beautiful and healthy, let's keep greening," he exclaimed.
Meanwhile, the Commitee Head of RW 09 Healthy Race Walking Cempaka Putih Barat, Sudirman added, the race was participated by 200 participants consisting of parents, youths, and kids.
