Cycling Along, Ahok Visited Historical Places

To respect the heroes fights, the Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Purnama and his Vice, Djarot Saiful Hidayat conducted a flashback by cycling along with the veterans from City Hall to historical places in the city. 

It's called the flash back, thus people know the history and the struggle how they got the independence

The flash back was started by visiting Pancasila Building, Juang Building, Proclamation Script Building, Karet Bivak Cemetery, and the last Proclamation Monument. 

Based on Beritajakarta.com observation, the activity was participated by the headmen of Regional Working Unit (SKPD) and bicycle, education communities, students, and veterans. In the occasion, Ahok was wearing white long-sleeved shirt, cycling her ontel bycycle with his Vice, Djarot Saiful Hidayat and his ranks.

"It's called the flash back, thus people know the history and the struggle how  they got  the independence. And after 70 years old independent, people would not forget and would remember the history," expressed Ahok when he was interviewed at City Hall, Sunday (8/16).

Ahok claimed he was ready to do the flash back visiting historical places by cycling thus he would know the struggle of the fallen heroes on the battlefield and sacrificed their soul for seizing the independence. 

"It won't get bleed, just getting dried , thus we know that the struggle was sacrificing soul. While us, we did not sacrifice soul, even blood," he uttered. 

He considered, the Independence Day is a special thing. He also hopes, at the day the city could be better, clean and arranged well.
