Citing Bung Karno's term, Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja 'Ahok' Purnama said that the current fight is more difficult than facing the invaders. This is because the current colonization done by the individual's own nation.

"We have all "Human and Natural Resources". The problem is the same as said by Bung Karno,  our fight is more challenging, because we are not facing the colonization but our individual own nation ," disclosed Ahok, after he led Independence Day ceremony in Monas, Central Jakarta, Sunday (8/17).

Now, he said, Indonesian people are trapped in a complicated situation.

"Today, we are trapped, against hypocrisy of people who sell religion for personal or group which is based on the corruption," he voiced.

In the 70th Indonesian Independence Day, he appealed Jakartans to start a new chapter. One of them is by combating corruption.

"We can start new chapter in accordance with the Indonesian Independence Day's theme "Let's Work". The work is not corruption," he exclaimed.

They were also appealed not to dare combating the unscrupulous people.

"Our law and rule are weak. It's like dissapear suddenly due to afraid acing unscrupulous apparatus and community organizations. That's why we must dare to fight them," he asserted.
