Awing (42), a citizen of Jalan Poncol explained that trash were dumped by surrounding traders. "Although the river had been cleaned 2 weeks ago, there still plenty of traders dumped their trash into it," he said, Thursday (8/20).

Head of Pesanggrahan Sub-district, Agus Irwanto said, his side will follow up problem to the Water Agency of Jakarta Cleanliness Department.

"Our officer will only clean riverbank and canal which connected to Pesanggrahan River," he explained.
