Tens of Kampung Pulo Household Took Flat's Key

In aftermath of demolishment conducted in Kampung Pulo, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Thursday (8/20), the officer managed to record 463 households for getting the flat key.

In overall, 527 plots of land in RW 01, 02, 03, Kampung Melayu, East Jakarta, will be controlled. Of that number, 520 citizens recorded and is entitled to take the flat. 

Kampung Pulo Eviction Takes a Week

Head of Jakarta Public Housing and Government’s Buildings Department, Ika Lestari Adji stated 283 out of 463 households have taken the key and been relocated to the flat. Its number is increasing than before which was 217 households on Wednesday (8/19). Predictably, it will continue to increase in future. 

She told, the relocated residents are given free rental cost for 3 months. And for next months, they obligated to pay cost by Rp 10,000 per day. 

"We will wait for those who still doubt to take the key. Don't worry our officers will remain standby," she told. 

Meanwhile, Head of UPRS Regional III for Jakarta Public Housing and Government’s Buildings Department, Sayid Ali added until a week ahead, the officer will be sent until 8 PM. Its duty will be adjusted if there are still citizens who will register. 

"If there are still residents who will register above 8 AM, they will still be served including on Saturday and Sunday," he stated.
