As many as 6 environment points are targeted to be maintained by Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officer of Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta. 4 out of the total points were already completed.

"The six points are located on Jalan Kamal Raya, Prepedan, Kapuk Kamal, Benda Raya, Menceng Raya, and Jalan Lingkungan III. After completed, the officers will expand the area to Jalan Permata and Sukatani," told Anik Sulastri, Head of Tegal Urban Village, Monday (8/24).

She said, a total of 70 PPSU officers were deployed and divided into 2 shifts. First shift will be started from 7.30 AM to 3 PM while second shift will be started from 3 PM to 11 PM.

"They will beautify and clean environment. No more trash and clogged drain," Sulastri said.

But, she added, the activity must get support from all parties.

“PPSU is only deployed to give help. Not have absolute authority such as park, cleanliness, water management, bina marga, and transportation department that written in bylaw," explained Sulastri.

She added, his side will keep monitor the PPSU officer.

"We will give reward for the best every month. Besides their salary which in accordance with minimum provincial wage (UMR)," she stated.
