17 Stalls Along Jalan Enggano Demolished

Teens of street vendors' stalls along Jalan Enggano RW 16, Tanjung Priok Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-District, North Jakarta, demolished by officers due to standing on water channel. 

Those stalls were built on water channel and road, making traffic jam

Tanjung Priok Urban Village Head, Ma'Mun stated those demolished stalls were starting from Post 8 gate until Enggano Street lights intersection along more than 300 meters. 

"Those stalls were built on water channel and road, making traffic jam," he stated, Wednesday (8/26).

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, joint officers consisting of Satpol PP and Infrastructure and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers were deployed in the action. 

Aside that, the concrete which covered the channels was also opened. 

"After the stalls were demolished, the concrete is opened thus the channel could be cleaned," he closed
