Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, asks history teachers should not only as teacher but should be able to motivate students thus they have strong nationalism.

He told, nowadays nationalism spirit in Indonesia begins to fade eroded by hegemony of globalization which massively campaigning western culture. Therefore, history is very important to internalize the spirit of next generation for facing it.
"Teachers don't only convey the material as document. But they should present the material as the interesting series for students," said Djarot when he became keynote speaker, in Pengejawantahan Nawa Cita Seminar Through History, in University of Jakarta, Thursday (8/27).
