30 Dump Trucks in South Jakarta Damaged

30 out of 154 dump trucks owned by South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department are damaged.

Ideally, the number of dump trucks needed is 253 units for 10 sub-districts and currently there are only 202 trucks operating

Head of South Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Budi Mulyanto claimed to cover the lack of dump trucks, his party rented 99 trucks for the private side, but only 78 of them approved. So currently the total of dump trucks operating is 202 trucks.

"Ideally, the number of dump trucks needed is 253 units for 10 sub-districts and currently there are only 202 trucks operating, like in Pancoran Sub-District needs 8 units yet there are only 5, but we're maximizing the existing ones," he stated, Tuesday (9/1).

352 New Dump Trucks Ready to Be Distributed

He claimed did not know how much trucks distributed to each sub-department, as the procurement now was conducted by the department.

"The truck procurement was proposed by the department and we don't know the number of trucks distributed. But it's predictably about 60 trucks," he closed.
