352 New Dump Trucks Ready to Be Distributed

To optimize trash handling in the capital, as many as 352 new dump trucks will be distributed to five municipalities. Besides that, as many as 200 motor carts will also be given to each sub-district and sub-department.

So far, we have 70 pick-up cars branded Panther in the city and 40 others in sub-district. The rest will be sent to sub-department of each area

Jakarta Cleanliness Department Head, Isnawa Aji stated if the revised budget is formed this year, there will be 500-600 additional dump trucks. According to him, the good facilities and infrastructure with high-tech is very important to clean Jakarta from trash. Meanwhile, the damaged dump trucks will be granted to Bekasi Administration.

"Dump truck distribution in each area will be conditioned," he explained, Thursday (7/30).

Besides that, Isnawa said, as many as 39 shovel loaders had been deployed to transport trash in the capital yesterday. His side also intends to provide pick-up cars for each sub-district and sub-department, where the car could also be used as additional fleet.
