Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo instructed Organization and Governance Bureau (Ortala) serving under Seribu Islands to review the unification of some departments.

He told that Ortala should have a strong reference about organization and efficiency, thus the sub and department unification in Seribu Islands could run effectively.

According to him, the streamlining towards the sections should be adjusted with the island's characteristic. He asserted, his area still needs organization that be able to strengthen tourism sector.
"There are some sections which are less function such as transmigration, parks and social sections. But their function can be united to urban villages and sub-districts," he explained.
