Sooner or Later, Each Island in Seribu Islands to Have Waste Container

Due to lack of the waste disposal site (TPS) in Seribu Islands, the Seribu Islands Cleanliness Sub-Department will provide waste containers in each island. 

It's one of solution for anticipating waste this time. Because in Seribu Islands, land for managing trash piles is unavailable

"It's one of solution for anticipating waste this time. Because in Seribu Islands, land for managing trash piles is unavailable," said Head of Seribu Islands Cleanliness Sub-Department, Bambang S, Wednesday (9/2). 

According to Bambang, as planned, the containers which are used to accommodate waste will be placed in some residential islands. "They will be placed in 6 urban villages first, it depends on how much containers will be given by the department," he uttered. 

Seribu Islands' UKPD Motivated to Accelerate Productive Program

He told his party has requested the containers to the Facility Division for Jakarta Cleanliness Department. "We hope there would be more thus all areas could get the same service," he expressed.
