At least, there are six ways to combat corruption that should be undertaken by Regional Working Unit (SKPD/UKPD) in City Administration.

Of the 6 ways, one of them is by tightening transparency of local budget management

“Of the 6 ways, one of them is by tightening transparency of local budget management,” said Sumilan, Section Head of Reforms Bureaucracy and Public Service Bureau for City Secretary Reforms Bureaucracy, during Socialization of Preventing and Eradicating Corruption, at City Hall, Friday (9/4).

According Sumilan, other actions that should be undertaken are publication of regional development planning documents, and SKPD plan, as well as formation and strengthening basic task and official function over information and documentation management.

He expects, such socialization could minimize corruption potential. In addition, it also aims to make the government, law enforcement, media and the public know policy about corruption eradication.
