Residents Thronged the Healthy Culinary Sales in Johar Baru

The mass communal work in Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, Sunday (9/6), used by 40 local residents who have participated in the training of citizens enterprises empowerment with food insecurity, to practice their skill by selling various culinary with low price. 

We taught them how to make food without any preservative materials thus it could be worth to be consumed

In half hour, all the merchandises were sold out by residents. 

"We're very glad as we got many knowledge from the training. Now, we can enjoy the result, making various culinary without any harmful preservatives and flavoring," said Yayah (50), one of the participants. 

1,150 Johar Baru Residents Held Communal Work

The culinary sold are talam potato pastel, cassava cake, solo sausage, soft bone chicken, etc. 

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Economic Assistant, Sulastri Gultom stated that her side did not allow any chemical substance materials used in the training, ranging from preservatives, and dye until flavoring that can harm healthy of body.

"We taught them how to make food without any preservative materials thus it could be worth to be consumed," said Sulastri. 

Such activity will keep being held in some other areas. For Johar Baru, it is centered at RW 08.
