Basuki Focuses on Boosting Local Revenue

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama will focus on how to boost the local revenue (PAD) in Revised City Budget (APBD-P). He also plans to boost all sectors to reach the target this year.

There are 7 kinds of tax that will be focused for boosting the revenue. They are Motor Vehicles Tax service (PKB), Motor Vehicles Tax service (PKB), Land and Building tax (PBB), hotel tax, restaurant tax and entertainment tax.

“For instance is restaurant tax, where its potential should be maintained. PBB revenue is far from target but its evaluation was good. No problem,” he uttered.

Then, the revenue from tax sector this year is targeted by Rp 36 trillion. While for total amount of local revenue reached Rp 64 trillion. To achieve target, the tax online system will be intensified.

At this time, there are at least 5,000 taxpayers using online system.
