Jalan Otista III will be Closed 18 Days

Jalan Otista III, precisely in Cipinang Cempedak Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, will be closed for 18 days on Saturday (9/12). The closure is applied to smoothen the construction of Ciliwung River waterway pipe towards East Flood Canal (KBT).

As planned, the closure will be done on September 12-30

To prevent traffic congestion, police will apply road diversion on some roads. They are motorists from Jalan Otista Raya towards Jalan Otista III will be rerouted to Jalan Kebon Nanas Utara, Jalan Kebon Nanas II-Jalan Kebon Nanas Utara III-Jalan Panti Asuhan and back to Jalan Otista III.

City Secretary Reviewed Ciliwung-KBT Waterway Project

While motorists from Jalan DI Panjaitan towards Jalan Otista III will be rerouted to Jalan Kebon Nanas Selatan I-Jalan Kebon Nanas Selatan and back to Jalan Otista III.

Jatinegara Sub-District Head, Budi Setiawan stated the closure on Jalan Otista III is slated to be applied on Saturday (9/12) until Wednesday (9/30). It relates to drill bit lifting by PT Wijaya Karya as project executor.

As planned, the closure will be done on September 12-30,” he told, Wednesday (9/9).

He added that the drill lifting is a series of two waterways' outlet pipe. Later on, the pipe serves to flow water from Ciliwung River to Cipinang River before emptying into East Flood Canal.

“Technically, we’re still discussing this matter with Mayor,” he closed.
