City Police Traffic Unit Directorate has prepared a road diversion in a bid to prevent traffic jam during American rock ban Bon Jovi's Jakarta concert in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Central Jakarta, Friday (9/11).

150 police officers will be sent around GBK and its surrounding areas

Chief of Operational Division, City Police Traffic Directorate, AKBP Ipung Purnomo said the road diversion is situational.

“ 150 police officers will be sent around GBK and its surrounding areas ,” he stated, Thursday (9/10).

He explained if the traffic jam happens at gate 7, precisely in front of TVRI, the motorist from Jalan Gatot Subroto will be diverted to Manggal Wanabakti and turn left-traffic light of Palmerah Station-turn left again-Lapangan Tembak-back again to TVRI- make a turn in front of JCC.

“If traffic from Senayan Roundabout towards gate 1 is jammed, the motorist will be directed to gate 5 nearby Sultan Hotel,” he described.
