A reservoir will be built in Rawa Rorotan, Cakung Timur Urban Village, which adjacent with Rorotan Urban Village, North Jakarta.
If the fixing process is done, we will immediately build the reservoir
It will be built on a 25-hectare land. The National Land Board (BPN) is involved in its project to measure and fix the land.
Anticipating Flood, 4 Reservoirs in North Jakarta Dredged“The land would be built in Rawa Rorotan Reservoir, considering it is bounded between Rorotan Urban Village (North Jakarta) and Cakung Timur Urban Village (East Jakarta). But its location is in Jakarta Garden City Residence,” said Sofyan Taher, Assistant of East Jakarta Environment and Development, Wednesday (9/16).
Taher stated that the developer or manager is obliged to maintain and repair due to reservoir located inside residence area.
“If the fixing process is done, we will immediately build the reservoir,” stated Jatinegara Sub-District Head.
