End of This September, Fishermen Flat Groundbreaking Conducted

Jakarta Housing and Government's Building Department is going to do a groundbreaking of fishermen's flat construction in Muara Angke, North Jakarta. As planned, the thematical flat will be constructed by PT Agung Podomoro and PT Jakarta Propertindo in the end of September. 

We start to construct the flat this September

Head of Jakarta Housing and Government's Building Department, Ika Lestari Aji stated the flat will have floors with 660 units that intended for fishermen around Muara Angke. 

"We start to construct the flat this September," she stated, Saturday (9/19). 

Flat Occupants Can Grab Transjakarta Bus For Free

This construction is one of programs for providing residential for Jakartans. The land is the government's property with 3 hectares wide. 

"It's our land. The developers are PT Agung Podomoro and PT Jakpro. The design is also from them," she explained. 

Eventually, the flat will be equipped with supporting facility such as fish drying place. Besides that, they will be given a training of marine products marketing. 

"It is targeted to be complete in 2016. We also provide fish drying place there," she expressed. 

According to her, the construction will be conducted gradually. As fishermen number accommodated is quite high. "660 units wouldn't be enough, it's the first step. This year, there is flat basic design that also near by the port. Port is not only for fish sales, there should also be UKM," she disclosed.
