City Prepares 1,000 Coupons of Qurban Animal

As many as 1,000 coupons of qurban animal are prepared for the mustahiq or the needy all over Jakarta during Idul Adha 1436 Hijri that falls tomorrow, precisely on Thursday (9/24). These coupons were from Jakarta officials, including Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat and President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo.

Head of Jakarta Mental and Spiritual Sub-Division, Sunardi acknowledged that although he does not know the exact qurban animal numbers, yet 1,000 coupons have been prepared. "1,000 coupons of qurban animal are prepared. If there is an excess of meat, it will be distributed without coupon," he told, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/22).

He disclosed a number of regional working units (SKPD) were willing to donate qurban animals. They are planned to be slaughtered in PD Dharma Jaya Animal Slaughterhouse (RPH), Cakung, East Jakarta.
Citizens who want to get the meat could make proposal. So far, there are 100 proposals received, starting from mosques, schools, foundations, Musala (prayer house), orphanages, as well as some cleaning services and office boys (OB) in the City Hall.
Each meat has a weight of 1.5-2 kg. Those who have made proposal should take the meat in Cakung RPH. "Meat distribution is done in Cakung RPH," he uttered.
