Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede acknowledged socialization already conducted long time ago. No wonder, residents have begun demolishing their own buildings.

“ We give them understanding in which they have violated regulation. There are 250 buildings demolished ,” he said, Wednesday (9/30).

Pardede went on the say that such demolishment had involved 200 joint personnel of Satpol PP, Cleanliness Sub-Department and Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU). “Later on, the land would be installed with a sheet pile and its drain will be dredged,” he expressed.

Relaying on beritajakarta.com's observation, to accelerate the effort, one heavy equipment was sent to the scene. Temporarily, road access on Jalan Pembangunan 1-3 closed.
