Traffic jam occurred in Tanah Abang towards Setiabudi, Wednesday (9/30), in the first day of traffic engineering on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Mostly the road users were in doubt and move slowly before Karet Bivak flyover.

It is reasonable if traffic jam occurred due to the first day of policy implementation

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, there was a traffic engineering sign before the flyover. The sign prohibited road users turning right into Jalan Penjernihan. Many of road users slow down the vehicle to read the sign. This condition had caused long traffic up to Tanah Abang Blok A Market.

Vehicles on the left side of the road continued the trip into the underpass. But they only allowed turn left towards Manggarai. Traffic was also seen on Jalan Penjernihan, especially from Pejompongan towards Tanah Abang or Manggarai. The traffic in front of City Walk was normal.

"It is reasonable if traffic jam occurred due to the first day of policy implementation," said Sulastri.
