About 330 street lights which are spread in 8 sub-districts in Central Jakarta, malfunctioned. Those malfunctioned lights are dominantly in Tanah Abang and Kemayoran.

"The total of street lights in Central Jakarta is 33,806 units. 330 of them are malfunctioned and need repair," said Head of Central Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Chairil Anwar, Saturday (10/3).
He has commitment to repair all of those malfunctioned lights. It aims to prevent criminal action.
Street Lights on Jalan Brawijaya Repaired"Those lights are off caused by the balast, capasitor, ignitor and connection error," he explained.
He also hopes residents to be pro-active reporting the malfunction thus his party could repair it immediately.
