Rp 39 B Allocated for 7,570 Street Lights

A huge budget by Rp 39 billion was allocated by City Administration for installing 7,570 street lights in six sub-districts in North Jakarta. The installation is targeted to finish on December 15, 2015.

Kurnia targets 82,977 street lights could already be installed in 2017.

“By the way, we still need 29,000 street lights. Hopefully, all programs that we made could be realized properly,” she hoped.

According to the data of North Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, last year, 45,407 street lights were installed in North Jakarta. From that number, 3,975 street lights have used lamp type light emitting diode (LED).

“We’ll replace all lamps with LED gradually,” she disclosed.
