City Launched Let's Go to the Park Movement

Jakarta Provincial Government and Green City Partnership (K2H) launched a movement of let's go to the park (Ayo ke Taman) at Ayodia Park area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Sunday (10/4). It is also promoted via media social with hashtag #AyoKeTaman. 

We hope people to synergize in developing the healthy park

The launching was officially participated by Deputy Governor of Population and Settlement Controlling Section, Syahrul Effendi.  

South Jakarta Held Car Free Day at Honda Park

This former South Jakarta Mayor hopes through such movement, there would be people visiting the park. They are also expected to maintain cleanliness and beauty of the park.

"We hope people to synergize in developing the healthy park. The park is ours, that means we have to maintain its cleanliness, beauty, sustainability and security," he stressed.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Park and Cemetery Department Head, Kurniati Diah Ratna disclosed the activity aims to invite people to visit the park. As concerning, there are so many benefits that can be obtained.

"In the future, the activity will be re-held regularly per-three months in each area. We’ll introduce our parks," she stated.

In conjunction with that, her department plans to add more parks in the city as interaction space, resident gathering and social activity.

"We will make a thame garden to accommodate rainwater during rainy season," she voiced.
