Basuki Prepares Law Base of PAM-PAL Merger

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, prepares a law base related to a merger for two regional-owned enterprises, PD Perusahaan Air Minum (PAM) Jaya and PD Pengelolaan Air Limbah (PAL) Jaya.
Pergub could be issued while waiting the Bylaw (Perda)
An analysis would be started before the law base is prepared. If it is necessary, the law base in form of governor regulation (Pergub) could be issued.

PTSP Officer Must Understand About Environment Permits ProcedureAccording to him, merger for those two enterprises is the best way solving water crisis in the capital. It is hoped the merger will be able to produce more water supply for residents.
"Other countries processing waste water into clean water to solve their crisis," added Basuki.
Basuki claimed that capital will not face water crisis if the water from 13 rivers passing Jakarta could be processed.
"Jatiluhur, Citarum, Cisadane, and Ciliwung never drought even though the debit is low," he continued.
Processing the waste water will give the benefit such as saving budget and creating a clean river also.
