Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat welcomed a merger for two regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), PD Perusahaan Air Minum (PAM) Jaya and PD Pengelolaan Air Limbah (PAL) Jaya.

Djarot acknowledged that the merger for both enterprises is the best way solving waste problem.
According to him, the synergy will be able to produce more water supply source from reservoirs and rivers through technology.

In conjunction with merger case, he added, the Bylaw is needed to organize both enterprises. Nevertheless, City Administration will use Gubernatorial Regulation first.
“This is for getting a good quality of water raw material at once produce the waste. That’s a good idea,” he disclosed.
