Residents of Jalan Kalibaru Timur Raya, RW 06 Bungur, Senen, Central Jakarta, are complaining about 30 semi-permanent kiosks standing on water channel. They urge to demolish those kiosks.

Syamsul, (27), one of the local residents uttered, currently the channel is being normalized by Central Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, but they are disrupted by many buildings on the channel.

"It's not right if those buildings that used as JP keep standing on the channel, even though they're managed by UKM," he complained, Thursday (10/8).
Head of Senen Sub-District, Masroni stated, those buildings are included part of JP 38. His party cannot demolish them as it is the authority of Central Jakarta Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives (KUMKMP).
"Residents did propose the demolishment to us. Even their proposal has been conveyed to the Governor. But we're still waiting for KUMKMP sub-department's decision about it," he explained.
