2 civil servants and freelancers were sent to guard and maintain the Empang Park in Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, West Jakarta.

"There are freelancers who maintain the park ranging from sweeping, watering and cutting wild grasses. As for monitoring is conducted by civil servants," said Head of Park Section for West Jakarta Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Mila Ananda, Wednesday (10/14).

Meanwhile, Head of Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, Edy Mulyanto added besides maintaining the park, the freelancers monitor people doing vandalism.

"It's public facilities, so it's not only being maintained but also monitored," he asserted.
