Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede stated that on the 1-hectare land will eventually accommodate more than 1,000 street vendors from some locations in Central Jakarta, such as Al-Akbar Mosque at Jalan Benyamin Sueb, H Jiung at Jalan Kemayoran Gempol and some other locations.

" I want it to immediately be occupied by street vendors. Yesterday the soil there has been hardened by Bina Marga Department ," he stated, Monday (10/19).

Besides that, his party will instruct the Industry and Energy Sub-Department to immediately install street lights on the locations. It aims to anticipate unwanted things happen due to lack of lighting.

"When executive meeting, Mr. Governor directly instructed the Industry and Energy Sub-Department to install street lights around the location," he disclosed.
