3 Transjakarta Buses Grounded

As many as 3 Transjakarta buses are grounded by Jakarta Transportation Department due to expired road-worthiness test (KIR).

Public Transports Raid Held in Kampung Rambutan Terminal
Sijabat explained 2 buses were netted during a raid in Kalideres Terminal or Corridor 3 (Kalideres-Harmoni) and 1 unit in Kampung Melayu Terminal or Corridor 9 (Cililitan-Ancol).
"Besides expired KIR test, those buses also have no the other documents such as trajectory license, business license, etc," he explained.
He added, besides Transjakarta, there were also 14 other public transports netted, they are public minivan, Metromini (minibus), Kopaja, and tour bus.
"Commonly they have no complete operational license," he disclosed.
