37,904 Underprivileged Households in S. Jakarta Get Raskin

Section Head of South Jakarta Social Welfare Rahmat Basuki recorded around 37,904 households categorized as target household (RTS) who deserve to receive poor rice quota (raskin).
Each underprivileged households get 15 kilograms rice by Rp 24,000

However, South Jakarta Administration should deposit Rp 909 million per month to State Logistic Agency for distributing poor rice.
He admitted that there are still 65 urban villages in South Jakarta, that is in arrear up to Rp 679 million. “That’s because residents still cannot afford to pay Rp 24,000 to purchase this rice,” he expressed.
Moreover, urban village and sub-district head's role to distribute poor rice is still unoptimal.
“I rely on headmen to help poor rice distribution in their areas well,” he finished.
